These handcrafted earrings are a piece from The Garden of Hesperides collection, inspired by a magical twilight grove in Greek Mythology. This sanctuary is filled with rare orchids in purple, violet, dark pink and white. It holds the golden apples of immortality that hang from a silver tree at its centre, guarded by the Hesperides, nymphs of the evening. The gems for this collection were chosen to represent the mystical orchids in this dreamlike place. Celestial accents and orchid flowers in silver adorn many pieces to symbolise the twilight sky above and the beautiful growth below. The apples of eternal life are paid tribute to by golden spheres crafted from recycled brass, bringing together a collection deep with magic and meaning.

These earrings bring the story to life through four spellbinding stones — a dark pink Rhodolite Garnet that glows like a rose in twilight, and a Moonstone that shimmers with ethereal flashes, like moonlight dancing across water. As with all my work, they are entirely one of a kind, handcrafted from recycled precious metals and created using cruelty-free practices, ethically sourced crystals, and environmentally conscious methods.

💎 RHODOLITE GARNET LORE
Rhodolite Garnet is formed through a natural blend of Almandine and Pyrope, giving rise to its distinctive pink-purple hue. Its name comes from the Greek word rhódon, meaning "rose," a nod to its delicate, romantic undertones. The word garnet itself traces back to the Latin granatum, meaning "pomegranate," for the gem’s resemblance to the fruit’s vibrant seeds. With a high refractive index, Rhodolite Garnet catches the light beautifully, creating a rich, luminous shine.
Throughout history, Garnet has been treasured as one of the oldest known talismans—believed to hold powerful protective and healing energies. It has long been seen as a stone of love, vitality, and success, often worn to strengthen relationships and restore confidence. Associated with the fierce Egyptian goddess Sekhmet and traditionally linked to the month of January, Garnet is also connected to the zodiac sign Aquarius. Rhodolite, in particular, is cherished for its ability to spark passion, inspire creativity, and encourage uplifting thoughts—making it a beautiful companion for the heart and spirit.

💎 MOONSTONE LORE:
Moonstone has been cherished in jewellery for thousands of years. The ancient Romans believed it was formed from solidified moonlight, while in India, it has long been considered sacred — especially for lovers — and is still given as a traditional wedding gift. Used for centuries across the Orient, Moonstone was also adored during the Art Nouveau era, prized by jewellers for its ethereal glow. In European folklore, it was believed to reconcile estranged lovers and soothe restless sleep.
Known as The Traveller’s Stone, Moonstone has been worn for protection, particularly at night or while journeying over water. Spiritually, it’s a crystal of new beginnings — supporting first love, fresh chapters, and emotional balance. Said to enhance intuition, creativity, and feminine energy, it’s also cherished as a powerful fertility stone and a gentle aid in nurturing confidence and inner calm.
