💎 MORENCI TURQUOISE LORE:
Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man's history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. Among the Ancient Egyptians, Persians and Chinese, Aztecs and Incas of South America, and Native North Americans, Turquoise was sacred in its adornment and for power, luck, and protection.
Wearing Turquoise is said to bring strength, protection from harm, psychic sensitivity and good fortune. It is a symbol of friendship, aids wearers while traveling and brings peace to the home.
Morenci Turquoise is often considered to be one of world's most beautiful types of Turquoise, and it originates from the Morenci Turquoise mine in south-eastern Arizona. Although closed in the late 1970's, the Morenci Turquoise Mine produced some of the finest Turquoise that has ever come out of the ground! It is high to light blue in colour, with a wonderful "Birdseye" or "Water Web" matrix pattern, often filled with beautiful Iron Pyrite that looks like Silver, and black iron spiderweb matrix. The name is derived from the large open pit Morenci copper mine, where a great deal of turquoise from. Morenci Turquoise is highly collectible, due to it becoming so difficult to obtain.

Another gorgeous Turquoise ring from Gem &...

Another gorgeous Turquoise ring from Gem & Tonik. I needed another one for my index finger! I love this ring, the colour is amazing, such a deep vibrant blue with unusual inclusions that makes it appear like a small slice of tropical ocean with an island. As usual it arrived quickly and was gorgeously packaged with little stones inside. I have my fix of turquoise rings, now time to look at other stones!
