Moonstone & Moonstone with Red Jasper Pendant
Please select all options.
This handcrafted pendant is a piece from the Aurora collection, inspired by all the shimmering crystals that evoke images of twilight skies, the wings of faeries and rainbows that fill my garden after a sunshower. This particular design features a beautiful teardrop shaped Moonstone filled with rainbows, and stunning marquise shaped rose cut Moonstone that sits above a slice of Red Jasper, allowing the red hues of the Jasper to shine through the stone. Both gems shimmer and sparkle with gorgeous colours in the light. Like all my work, this pendant is a complete one of a kind, made using recycled silver, cruelty-free materials, ethically sourced crystals and environmentally friendly methods.

Moonstone has been used in Roman jewellery for nearly two thousand years, as the Romans believed it was born from solidified rays of the moon. It has used even longer in the Orient and has always been a sacred stone in India with a special significance for lovers, and is a traditional wedding gift there. It was a popular choice for jewellers in the Art Nouveau period, and in Europe was believed to reconcile estranged lovers and to cure sleeplessness.
Legendary as the Traveller's stone, Moonstone is great for protection at night or on the water. It is a great stone to keep during a first love or any new relationship. It helps creativity, confidence and self-expression, and helps its wearer be more successful in their day to day working activities. It is also considered to be the ultimate fertility crystal.

It was revered by ancient peoples and civilizations throughout the world as a sacred and powerful stone of protection, for both the physical and spiritual realm, as well as a stone of courage, healing and wisdom. Today, Red Jasper is still known as the Stone of Endurance, a gentle, but vital, stimulator of chi, or Life Force, bringing physical strength and energy, stamina, focus and determination.
