💎 MOONSTONE LORE:
Moonstone has been used in Roman jewellery for nearly two thousand years, as the Romans believed it was born from solidified rays of the moon. It has used even longer in the Orient, and has always been a sacred stone in India with a special significance for lovers, and is a traditional wedding gift there. It was a popular choice for jewellers in the Art Nouveau period, and in Europe was believed to reconcile estranged lovers and to cure sleeplessness.
Legendary as 'The Traveller's Stone,' Moonstone is great for protection at night or on the water. It is a great stone to keep during a first love or any new relationship. It helps creativity, confidence and self-expression, and helps its wearer be more successful in their day to day working activities. It is also considered to be the ultimate fertility crystal.
💎AUSTRALIAN OPAL LORE:
The Roman historian, Pliny the Elder described the Opal as a precious stone containing the fire of a Garnet, the resplendent purple of the Amethyst, and the sea-green glory of the Emerald. In Ancient times Opal was considered to be the most magical and mysterious gemstone, able to heal the body, provide luck, and strengthen the mind.
Opals help to calm their wearers, easing stress and depression. They are helpful with issues with anxiety, restless thoughts and racing minds, as they center the mind and promote positive dreams. As well as this, Opals are a wonderful protection stone, shielding the wearer from other people's negative thoughts and energies. It is thought to be greatly beneficial when venturing into dangerous places.
Opals are also very seductive stones, associated with love, desire and passion.
💎 LARIMAR LORE:
Larimar is found only in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. It occurs where crystals grow together within basaltic lava cavities. The presence of copper in the stone helps to create beautiful translucent shades of soft blues, whites and turquoise. The more intense the blue, the rarer and higher the value of the stone.
Larimar is a crystal that promotes serenity and relaxation. It can help relieve stress, lower anxiety, heal and promote a pleasant atmosphere around you. As a crystal of the Throat Chakra, Larimar can help with communication. It is also regarded as a great stone for singers or public speakers. As well as this, Larimar is thought to be a great stone to help in finding a soulmate.
Please note: Larimar is photosensitive and therefore it is recommended for the stone to not be exposed to extreme heat or light.
