This handcrafted pendant is a piece from the Aurora collection, inspired by all the shimmering crystals that evoke images of twilight skies, the wings of faeries and rainbows that fill my garden after a sunshower. It features two incredible stones: a beautiful Australian Opal filled with rainbows and a stunning rose cut Moonstone that sits above a slice of Red Jasper, allowing the red colour of the Jasper to shine through and compliment the blue adularescence of the Moonstone. The stones unite together in a relationship that complements both nature and modern-day alchemy, resulting in delightful shimmers and colours that dance in the light, and bounce off each stone's facet as the pendant moves.
Like all my work, this pendant is a complete one of a kind, made using recycled precious metals, cruelty-free materials, ethically sourced crystals and environmentally friendly methods.

💎OPAL LORE:
The Roman historian, Pliny the Elder described the Opal as a precious stone containing the fire of a Garnet, the resplendent purple of the Amethyst, and the sea-green glory of the Emerald. In Ancient times Opal was considered to be the most magical and mysterious gemstone, able to heal the body, provide luck, and strengthen the mind.
Opals help to calm their wearers, easing stress and depression. They are helpful with issues with anxiety, restless thoughts and racing minds, as they center the mind and promote positive dreams. As well as this, Opals are a wonderful protection stone, shielding the wearer from other people's negative thoughts and energies. It is thought to be greatly beneficial when venturing into dangerous places.
Opals are also very seductive stones, associated with love, desire and passion.
💎 MOONSTONE LORE:
Moonstone has been used in Roman jewellery for nearly two thousand years, as the Romans believed it was born from solidified rays of the moon. It has used even longer in the Orient and has always been a sacred stone in India with a special significance for lovers, and is a traditional wedding gift there. It was a popular choice for jewellers in the Art Nouveau period, and in Europe was believed to reconcile estranged lovers and to cure sleeplessness.
Legendary as the Traveller's stone, Moonstone is great for protection at night or on the water. It is a great stone to keep during a first love or any new relationship. It helps creativity, confidence and self-expression, and helps its wearer be more successful in their day to day working activities. It is also considered to be the ultimate fertility crystal.
💎RED JASPER LORE:
The virtues of Jasper have been remarked upon throughout the ages by the most noted physicians, magicians, poets, scientists, lapidaries and scholars. It was revered by ancient peoples and civilizations throughout the world as a sacred and powerful stone of protection, for both the physical and spiritual realm, as well as a stone of courage, healing and wisdom. Today, Red Jasper is still known as the Stone of Endurance, a gentle, but vital, stimulator of chi, or Life Force, bringing physical strength and energy, stamina, focus and determination. Its steady frequency calms the emotional body creating a lasting, stable energy for improving health or overcoming illness, setting goals and following through to completion, facing unpleasant tasks and having the courage to rectify wrongs. It is also thought to be a stone of passion, useful for restoring and rejuvenating the libido, and in manifesting creative ideas.
