This listing is for Made to Order starfish ring, crafted by hand and hammer especially for you. These rings are made by a meticulous and repetitive process of melting recycled sterling silver, then hammering it into a steel starfish mould before the metal cools. Each piece is then sawed out and filed down by hand, attached to a sterling silver ring band and oxidised in parts to give the ring an antiqued look.
To place an order, simply select your ring size from the drop-down menu, and I will then create your very own starfish ring in the size chosen. Like all my work, each ring is individually handcrafted, using recycled silver, cruelty-free materials and environmentally friendly methods.

⦁ Created using traditional metalsmithing techniques (hammers, fire, anvil etc).

⦁ 925 sterling silver starfish, approximately 12mm x 12mm in size.
⦁ 925 sterling silver 11-gauge (2.5mm) ring band.
⦁ Oxidised darker in parts for contrast.
⦁ Polished to a high shine.
⦁ Silver used is nickel free.
