This handcrafted ring hails from the Nocturne collection, a gathering of treasures wrought in honour of Halloween’s spell, where darkness and beauty entwine beneath the veil of night. It features a beautiful Rose Quartz carved into its coffin shape, luminous in pale pink like wispy clouds against the midnight sky. Named for Mazoe, spirit of bloom and renewal, whose touch could coax even the coldest earth to life. This ring embodies her tender warmth and connection to all that grows. Like all my work, it is a complete one of a kind, made using recycled silver, cruelty-free materials, ethically sourced stones and environmentally friendly methods.

💎 ROSE QUARTZ LORE:
It is thought that Rose Quartz may have been used as a love token as early as 600 BC and is still considered to be an effective talisman for love and relationships in modern times. In Greek Mythology, it was believed that Rose Quartz was created when the Goddess Aphrodite’s saved her lover Adonis from war. She was wounded, and her blood fell on the White Quartz beneath her, staining it pink. Zeus saw this and felt great empathy, bringing Adonis safely back from war and created Rose Quartz deposits throughout Greece as a symbol of love rekindled or renewed. In another Greek story, Cupid and Eros brought the rose quartz to humans to sow love and hope. In Roman Mythology, Cupid, the god of desire and affection, was said to have bestowed Rose Quartz stone upon the Earth as a gift of love, passion, and happiness for all. Rose Quartz was also a gem that was prized by the Ancient Egyptians, who made facial masks out of the stone and placed it in tombs.
In terms of its metaphysical properties, Rose Quartz is said to be a stone that attracts and supports unconditional love, making it a powerful stone for deepening relationships of any kind, including friendships and our relationships with ourselves. As well as aiding love and relationships, Rose Quartz also lowers stress, increases self-esteem, improves friendships and brings the wearer inner peace. It is a nurturing stone that fosters gentleness, forgiveness, compassion, kindness and tolerance. It can also help to balance emotions and heal emotional wounds and traumas, removing fear, resentment, jealousy and anger.
