This handcrafted ring hails from the Nocturne collection, a gathering of treasures wrought in honour of Halloween’s spell, where darkness and beauty entwine beneath the veil of night. It features a beautiful Rose Cut Black Onyx carved into its coffin shape, reflecting the light across its facets like the shimmer of the moon against the midnight sky. Named for Cliton, guardian of thresholds, who stood between the seen and unseen. This ring honours her watchful grace and the power of stepping into the unknown. Like all my work, it is a complete one of a kind, made using recycled silver, cruelty-free materials, ethically sourced stones and environmentally friendly methods.
I have created this ring in a size 6 (Australian size L 1/2).

💎 BLACK ONYX LORE:
Black Onyx has been cherished for thousands of years, both as a protective stone and a material of great artistry. In ancient times, cultures such as the Greeks and Romans carved Onyx into cameos and intaglio engravings, depicting gods, heroes, and mythic scenes. It was also shaped into beads, seals, inlays, and tiles, valued not only for its beauty but for its durability. Geologically, Onyx is a striking variety of Chalcedony, formed in the layered bands of silica-rich lava flows, with Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul region among its most well-known sources today.
In crystal lore, Black Onyx is thought to harmonize the physical and the spiritual, grounding its wearer during periods of uncertainty. It is believed to alleviate fears and worries, encourage a calm and steady outlook, and relieve tension. Students and those in training often wear Onyx for its associations with focus, concentration, and discipline. The stone is also said to enhance stamina, self-control, and wise decision-making, while offering strength and resilience during times of stress. Beyond this, Black Onyx is seen as a talisman for happiness and good fortune, dispelling negativity from both the self and the surrounding environment.
