This handcrafted ring is part of the Persephone's Return collection; a small gathering of jewels that pay homage to the shifting seasons, inspired either by the quiet end of Winter or the bright beginning of Spring. It features a beautiful piece of rose cut Sunstone, filled with glittery inclusions that sparkle when the light hits the stone. Like all my work, this ring is a complete one of a kind, made using recycled silver, cruelty-free materials, ethically sourced crystals and environmentally friendly methods.

💎 SUNSTONE LORE:
Sunstone is a radiant member of the Feldspar family, named for its warm, glowing tones of gold, orange, red, and brown that shimmer like sunlight. Tiny inclusions of Goethite or Hematite within the stone refract light across its layers, creating a luminous, iridescent glow that shifts as it's viewed from different angles.
In ancient Greece, Sunstone was associated with the sun god and believed to bring life, abundance, and vitality to all who possessed it. It was often used to adorn goblets and plates, thought to protect against poison and enhance strength. Among Canadian Indigenous peoples, Sunstone held a sacred role in medicine wheel ceremonies, symbolizing the golden-white healing light of the sun and serving as a beacon for spirit guides. During these rituals, it was said to emit a soft golden glow.
Today, Sunstone is cherished as a gem of joy, confidence, and personal power. It encourages openness, mental clarity, and the nurturing of self, so that we may shine more brightly for others. A stone of warmth and benevolence, it reminds us to move through life with light in our hearts and a generous spirit.
