This handcrafted ring features a stunning piece luminous, purple Amethyst, paired with a brilliant blue Turquoise from the Turquoise Mountain mine in Arizona in the United States. The setting has been made with a solid sterling silver split-shank ring band, a thick sterling silver hand-sawed backing, fine silver bezels around each stone, and sterling silver trims and accents. There are also two hand-fabricated sterling silver flowers placed in between the two stones. The ring has then been sanded smooth, oxidised in parts for contrast and polished to a high shine. Like all my work, it is a completely unique piece made entirely by hand, using recycled silver, cruelty-free materials, and environmentally-friendly methods!
I have created this ring in a size 10 (Australian size T J 1/2), but it can also be taken to any local jeweller to be sized up or down!

💎 TURQUOISE MOUNTAIN LORE:
Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man's history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. Among the Ancient Egyptians, Persians and Chinese, Aztecs and Incas of South America, and Native North Americans, Turquoise was sacred in its adornment and for power, luck, and protection.
Wearing Turquoise is said to bring strength, protection from harm, psychic sensitivity and good fortune. It is a symbol of friendship, aids wearers while traveling and brings peace to the home.
Turquoise Mountain is located in the copper rich Mineral Park Mining District in Mohave County, Arizona in the United States. The turquoise is a beautiful blue green seen many times with a golden or brown web. It is a unique turquoise found close to the Kingman deposits. Even though it is so close to the Kingman Mine, it is considered a "classic" mine in its own right because the turquoise is so different in appearance. This stone exhibits a beautiful range of colour from pale blue to lime green in one piece that makes it a sought-after turquoise.
💎 AMETHYST LORE:
Although a semi-precious stone in modern standards, in ancient times Amethyst was considered to be an incredible rare 'gem of fire' worth as much as Diamonds.
