This handcrafted statement pendant features a brilliant piece Number 8 Turquoise that has a stunning caramel matrix over a beautifl aqua stone. The turquoise itself measures approximately 21mm x 17mm, and the setting has been made with a solid sterling silver bail, a thick sterling silver hand-sawed backing, a fine silver bezel around the stone, and a ball accent made from molten sterling silver. The pendant has then been sanded smooth, oxidised in parts for contrast, and polished to a high shine. It hangs from a 72cm adjustable organic cotton cord, so that it can be worn as a choker, a long layering necklace, and everything in between! Like all my work, it is a completely unique piece made entirely by hand using recycled silver, cruelty-free materials, and environmentally-friendly methods.

💎 NUMBER EIGHT TURQUOISE LORE:
Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man's history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors.
Wearing Turquoise is said to bring strength, protection from harm, psychic sensitivity and good fortune. It is a symbol of friendship, aids wearers while traveling and brings peace to the home.
The Number 8 Turquoise mine is in the Lynn mining district in Eureka County, Nevada. It's famous for its black, golden red and brown spider web matrix set off with the unique bright powder blue turquoise background. The mine has now been depleted, and for this reason Number 8 Turquoise is considered to be extremely valuable.
