This handcrafted pendant features an absolutely gorgeous piece of sky-blue Larimar, paired with a gorgeous piece of pale-blue Dry Creek Turquoise. The pendant setting has been made with a solid sterling silver 1.9mm twisted bail, a thick sterling silver hand-sawed backing, fine silver bezel settings, and solid sterling silver trims and accents. It has then been sanded,, oxidised and polished to a high shine.
The pendant hangs from a 72cm adjustable organic cotton cord, so that it can be adjusted from a choker to a long layering necklace, and anything in between! Like all my work, it is a completely unique piece, made by hand, from recycled silver, cruelty-free materials and environmentally-friendly methods!

💎 LARIMAR LORE:
Larimar is found only in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. It occurs where crystals grow together within basaltic lava cavities. The presence of copper in the stone helps to create beautiful translucent shades of soft blues, whites and turquoise. The more intense the blue, the rarer and higher the value of the stone.
Larimar is a crystal that promotes serenity and relaxation. It can help relieve stress, lower anxiety, heal and promote a pleasant atmosphere around you. As a crystal of the Throat Chakra, Larimar can help with communication. It is also regarded as a great stone for singers or public speakers. As well as this, Larimar is thought to be a great stone to help in finding a soulmate.
Please note: Larimar is photosensitive and therefore it is recommended for the stone to not be exposed to extreme heat or light.
💎 DRY CREEK TURQUOISE LORE:
Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man's history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors.
Wearing Turquoise is said to bring strength, protection from harm, psychic sensitivity, wealth and good fortune. It is a symbol of friendship, aids wearers while traveling and brings peace to the home.
Dry Creek Turquoise comes from a small Turquoise mine outside of Austin, Nevada in Lander County. It is not treated or colour enhanced and is revered for its light whitish - blue Turquoise colour. Dry Creek Turquoise has gained much popularity over the years with its creamy white or pale blue colouring, and golden to cocoa brown matrix. High grade Dry Creek Turquoise has beautiful light brown, golden yellow or orange webbed matrix. Dry Creek Turquoise is also referred to as "Sacred Buffalo" Turquoise.
