This handcrafted statement ring features a absolutely stunning piece of Cerrillos Turquoise, that has is the most amazing shades of teal, aqua and brown. The stone is also filled with flecks of Pyrite, which is something I have never seen before in Cerrillos stones! The stone itself measures approximately 14mm x 10mm, and the ring setting has been made with a solid sterling silver 1.9mm twisted, a thick sterling silver hand-sawed backing, a fine silver serrated bezel setting and solid sterling ball accent. The ring has then been sanded and polished to a high shine. Like all my creations, it is a completely unique piece made entirely by hand, using recycled silver, cruelty-free materials and environmentally-friendly methods!

I have made this ring in a size 8 (Australian size P 1/2), but it can also be taken to any local jeweller to be sized up or down!

Total Ring Face Length: 19mm approx.
Total Ring Face Width: 10mm approx.

💎 CERRILLOS TURQUOISE LORE:
Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man's history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors.
Wearing Turquoise is said to bring strength, protection from harm, psychic sensitivity and good fortune. It is a symbol of friendship, aids wearers while traveling and brings peace to the home.
Cerrillos turquoise mine, located between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, New Mexico, is one of the most famous prehistoric mining districts in the American Southwest. Cerrillos is the only turquoise that formed at the base of a volcano; thus, a variety of colors developed from the minerals in the various volcanic host rocks. Seventy-five colors have been identified, from tan to khaki-green to rich, blue-green to bright, light colors.
